THE IRONY OF LIFE

There are days love feels good
There are moments life turns cold
And those we’ll love to hold
Seem to be gone with the moment’s good

A moment of laughter
Amidst the next minute of sorrow
Is only a part of life’s regular
That we all but look forward to tomorrow

Relief is brought by a new day
Relic of yesterday’s pain
Seem to be gone with the rain
Yet unalloyed joy seem to be kept at bay

Maximize today, we should
Mystery is all tomorrow seem like
Follow the heart we could
For all is, but the Irony of Life.
